• Designed from Lexan plastic
• Smooth base allows the support device to lie comfortably on the patients abdomen
• Model A: has a 5 degree distal drop down (red arrow) which will tilt the patients wrist inferiorly (medial wrist extension).
• At the proximal outer portion of the brace there is an elbow support (blue arrow), which provides alignment of the arm maintaining the patients elbow in a stationary position.
• At the distal edge (red arrow) of the brace, an additional piece of Lexan plastic at a 45 degree angle allows the patient to securely hold their hand in place during the procedure.
• Model B: has an adjustable hinge (blue arrow) which can be manipulated to preferred degree (0-120 degrees) of the operator.
